Mr Daniel Kotarski, an employee of Marani Sp. z o.o., won first place in the competition of the Minister of National Defence for the Marian Rejewski Award.
His master's thesis entitled. "Analysis of the effectiveness of network attack detection using deep learning methods", written under the supervision of Dr Agnieszka Jakóbik at the Cracow University of Technology, was recognised as the best scientific paper on cyber security and cryptology out of 50 finalist master's and doctoral theses. The awarded thesis concerns the use of deep neural networks in the detection of network attacks - one of the key artificial intelligence technologies in the area of cyber security
