Gyms Marani ORC and refrigeration systems can cooperate with district heating networks on the premises of generating facilities such as district heating and combined heat and power plants, industrial plants. Part of the hot water or steam stream feeding the district heating network (municipal or on-site) is the heat energy carrier in this process and can be used as a heat source for ORC plant or refrigeration unit. Depending on the circuit configuration adopted, the water or steam stream from which the heat will be removed in the evaporator ORC facilitiesor cooling system generator is not lost, it is recycled back into the circuit and diverted into the boiler return water stream. This water can also be used as a cooling medium for the condenser and then directed back to the boiler. In this configuration, the unused process water heat remains in the circuit at all times and is not lost to the environment.

The heat stream received is converted into electricity, either fed back into the grid or consumed for its own use. or used to generate cooling capacity that can be sold as an additional product.
